Punta Coral has been the weekend get-away for David and Cecelia Reid since they purchased the property in 1980. They are the creators of the Calypso Island Cruise which is one of the most popular tours in Costa Rica and famous around the world. Written about in newspapers and magazines for the last 30 years (Gourmet, Forbes and Islands), they have escorted hundreds of thousands of delighted tourists on the Island Cruise for a perfect day at the beach and gourmet dining.

In 1999, after the tropical wedding for their daughter, Celiece, they realized that their special place, whose beauty knows no boundaries, was the perfect place for weddings and celebrations. Since that memorable day, David and Cecelia Reid have decided to use their talents and open their private reserve to the public. They are experienced professionals who have earned their reputation through their dedication to quality service.
